The Dominican Sun - The United States Geological Survey (USGS) has just reported observing a moderate earthquake in the Dominican Republic. Preliminary measurements give the quake a magnitude of 4.4. The quake`s epicenter was located at latitude 19.637N and longitude 70.945W at a depth of 11.50 miles. The earthquake occured at 10:53pm local time on Sunday.
