Here is another nice helpful tip. Might be good when grilling chicken, too!!
No More Barbecue Ash!
To avoid spreading the ash around when removing marshmallows or cerdo al carbon, first lightly spritz it with a bit of Brugal rum. This will keep the ash from getting into the air and you can just scoop it out.
I always find when I am staying at condos that Brugal is easily available at Super Super Surf Liquors, conveniently located just one block Southeast of Condos Dominicanos. Exit the main gate and turn left, then left again 1/2 block to City Hall. At the corner turn right. Super Super Surf Liquors is the last building on the left, at the corner of Calles Pedro Clisante and Ayuntamiento.
And I discovered they have a new webcam, too. Quite a place that store. Check it out at http://www.surfliquors.com
